INGENTIA ENERGIES STRENGTHENS ENGAGEMENT WITH NUPRC, REAFFIRMS GROWTH AMBITIONS AS IT TARGETS 30,000 BOPD BY 2030

Ingentia Energies Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to operational excellence, growth and regulatory compliance following a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) at its headquarters in Abuja.

The visit marked the company's first official engagement with the Commission since the appointment of Engr. Victor Agbaroji as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer and provided an opportunity to present the company's progress, growth ambitions, and long-term vision for sustainable value creation.

Leading the Ingentia Energies delegation, Engr. Agbaroji was received by the Commission Chief Executive, Mrs. Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan, alongside members of the Commission's leadership team. During the engagement, Engr. Agbaroji highlighted Ingentia Energies' operational progress, revealing that the company has increased production to over 5000 bopd, representing significant growth since assuming operatorship of its asset. He noted that the achievement reflects the company's commitment to operational excellence, responsible asset development, and value creation, while positioning it for its next phase of growth. As part of discussions around the company's future direction, Engr. Agbaroji outlined Ingentia Energies' ambition to achieve 30,000 BPD by 2030, supported by continued investment in technical development and growth opportunities. "We are positioned for growth and will embrace it fully, but we will do so responsibly and strategically, guided by the lessons and experience we have gained over the years," Agbaroji said

He further emphasized the critical role of indigenous operators in increasing Nigeria's hydrocarbon production and advocated for performance-driven growth opportunities within the sector. According to him, companies that have successfully transformed assets into commercially viable operations should be recognized and encouraged through access to larger opportunities, as their track record demonstrates competence and operational capability. "Operators that have demonstrated technical competence, sound asset management, and production growth have proven their capacity to create value. Such achievements should serve as a basis for encouraging further industry participation and expansion," he stated. Engr. Victor Agbaroji further solicited the Commission's continued support in advancing Ingentia Energies' "30 for 30" ambition, underscoring the importance of regulatory collaboration in achieving the company's target.

In response, Mrs. Eyesan congratulated Ingentia Energies on its achievement of increased production to over 5000 bopd and applauded their growth strategy while highlighting the importance of strict adherence to regulatory policies. She further commended Ingentia Energies for its commitment to regulatory compliance and encouraged the company to continue upholding high standards of corporate governance as it pursues its growth ambitions.

Mrs. Eyesan emphasized that strong financial capacity and technical competence remain critical prerequisites for operators seeking participation in future licensing bid rounds. She noted that companies must demonstrate the requisite technical expertise, operational capability, and financial strength required to responsibly develop petroleum assets and contribute meaningfully to the growth of the sector. Discussions also focused on developments within Nigeria's upstream industry, the importance of adherence to regulatory policies for effective collaboration.

The visit underscores Ingentia Energies' commitment to maintaining constructive relationships with regulators and key industry stakeholders while advancing its ambition of becoming a leading indigenous energy company. With production now at 5000 BOPD and a clear roadmap toward its 30,000 BPD production target, Ingentia Energies remains focused on delivering operational excellence, creating sustainable value, and contributing meaningfully to the development of Nigeria's upstream petroleum industry.
