Ingentia Energies Limited Records Two Major Drilling Successes in the Egbolom Field Development Programme

Ingentia Energies Limited has successfully executed the drilling, completion, and testing of two additional development wells within the Egbolom Field, representing another key milestone in the phased implementation of the Egbolom Field Development Plan (FDP).

Egbolom-1ST (EGB-1ST) and Egbolom-3 (EGB-03) represent key milestones in Ingentia Energies' Phase One Field Development campaign, demonstrating the successful execution of the company's drilling, completion, and reservoir management strategies. The Egb-01ST and Egb-3 wells were safely drilled and completed in April 2026 and July 2026 respectively to access multiple hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir intervals, overcoming operational and subsurface challenges while delivering critical production and reservoir data. EGB-1ST was drilled as a sidetrack from the previously suspended Egbolom-1 drilled in 1982 and was suspended for over 3 decades. EGB-1ST was drilled to total depth 10,996 ft MD (9,965 ft TVD) and completed as a Two-String Multi-Zone Producer targeting the C4000, C5000, and D5000 reservoirs. This well encountered a total of 322 ft of gross hydrocarbon sand in six reservoirs.

The well has been completed as a dual string producer on the B4000 and D3000 reservoirs to optimize recovery from multiple reservoir compartments and fault blocks. Both wells have been drilled and completed using the Hilong-29 land rig. The EGB-03 well was drilled to a total depth of 11,061 ft MD and encountered approximately 231 ft of net hydrocarbon-bearing sands across three reservoir intervals

Preliminary subsurface and petrophysical evaluations from both wells confirmed strong hydrocarbon saturation and significant production potential, providing valuable insight for reservoir characterization, future development planning, and the overall optimization of field recovery. Advanced completion and sand management technologies, including Sand Consolidation (SCON), Internal Gravel Pack (IGP), Stand-Alone Screens (SAS), and dual-string production systems, were deployed to ensure production integrity, maximize reservoir drainage efficiency, and support long-term field performance.

These accomplishments exhibit Ingentia Energies' capability to execute complex drilling and completion operations within the Niger Delta's structurally and stratigraphically complex setting while maintaining the highest standards of safety, technical excellence, and operational efficiency.

As development continue, both wells are expected to play a significant role in increasing production capacity, optimizing reservoir recovery, and supporting Nigeria's long-term energy development objectives. Following the successful completion of Egbolom-1ST (EGB-1ST) and Egbolom-3 (EGB-03), total production capacity at the Egbolom Field surged to over 5,000 bopd, further strengthening the field's production performance and value realization.
