Ingentia Energies Limited Board Visits Nigeria Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission Leadership to Strengthen Strategic Industry Collaboration

The Board and top management of Ingentia Energies Limited (IEL) recently paid a strategic courtesy visit to the leadership of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) at the Commission's headquarters in Abuja on 29 April 2026.
The visit formed part of IEL’s continued commitment to strengthening collaboration with industry regulators and aligning with the Federal Government’s vision for sustainable production growth, increased indigenous participation, and enhanced production within Nigeria’s upstream oil and gas sector.
During the engagement, discussions focused on the future of indigenous operators in Nigeria’s energy industry, regulatory compliance, production growth, operational sustainability, gas commercialization, and the critical role of local participation in driving long-term industry resilience.
The Commission Chief Executive (CCE) of NUPRC commended IEL for its operational progress and strategic direction, while reaffirming the Commission’s commitment to supporting credible indigenous operators that demonstrate strong governance, technical competence, and regulatory compliance.
The visit also provided an opportunity for the Ingentia Energies Board to share the company’s long-term growth strategy, including its ongoing drilling campaign, field development activities, production expansion plans, and its target of scaling production to 30,000 barrels of oil per day by 2030.
Ingentia Energies further reiterated its commitment to operational excellence, host community development, human capital investment, and responsible energy development in line with the objectives of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA).
The engagement reflects the growing recognition of indigenous companies as key contributors to the future of Nigeria’s upstream petroleum industry and reinforces Ingentia Energies’ position as an emerging independent operator committed to delivering sustainable value across the energy value chain.
