About the job

To deliver quality process studies and process designs as required within the Process Engineering discipline to ensure adequate discipline support for execution of capital projects to world class standards, support to the smooth operations of the Central Processing Facilities (CPF), and to achieve company’s corporate business objectives. To deliver conceptual, front-end and detailed engineering design activities for assigned project(s) in Oil & Gas facilities in accordance with the Company's established procedures. Provide activity planning and work scheduling, as well as working with the project team and operations for process optimization. Prepare/review PFD, P&ID’s, project specific specifications, design calculation/ analysis, procurement specifications. Interface with other disciplines, user departments & Clients and estimation/engineering work related to bids. To coach and mentor younger Process Engineers, participate as a member of Discipline Engineering team supporting facility development, production optimisation, supporting operations and maintenance of existing facilities via the MoC process to ensure continuous and safe operations of Ingentia facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Execute the assigned process engineering activity and act as process focal point, as assigned by the unit head, for projects, developing process scope, planning, coordinating and executing required deliverables to industry standards and quality.
  • Provide Process Design for Conceptual, Front-End & Detailed Engineering activities including developing and analysing process and hydraulic simulations, design calculations, process optimisation, and sizing & specification of equipment.
  • Prepare and review various Process Engineering Drawings & Documents such as Heat & Material Balance, Process
  • Flow Diagram, P&I Diagrams, Process Datasheet, Equipment Specification, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Process Philosophies,
  • Provide process engineering inputs to other disciplines to ensure consistency in overall design outputs.
  • Work with other project teams/process team in reviewing design drawing, specifications, etc., to ensure that contents of deliverables are consistent with project design intent
  • Prepare & issue of RFQ’s, evaluation of vendor’s quotation, clarification, technical bid analysis etc.
  • Review contractor and vendor tender documents, specifications, datasheets, verification of process engineering design & calculations
  • Strong background in Process Facility engineering, optimisation and troubleshooting.
  • Carry out Conceptual studies and Process feasibility studies for a variety of surface oil and gas process facilities to support production forecast provided by the sub-surface team and accordingly prepare the concept selection report.
  • Perform studies related to oil and gas processing and water treatment & disposal and identify the required stations modifications and upgrade
  • Participate in as-built activities for Process Facilities.
  • Participate in Engineering Studies, Process Safety (HAZOP, HAZID, Safety Cases etc) Workshops, Operations and Maintenance Review/studies and Reviews for Projects.
