The Maintenance Supervisor role at Ingentia Energies Limited is responsible for coordinating and overseeing maintenance operations across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant equipment and facilities. The successful candidate will lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities, supervise maintenance teams, manage maintenance schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role also involves supporting operational readiness, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement within the company’s oil and gas operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
- Manage condition monitoring, routine maintenance, repairs, and operational readiness of generating plants.
- Oversee maintenance, overhauling, and installation of boosters, transfer pumps, export pumps, and water injection facilities.
- Supervise preventive, corrective, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities for field process plant equipment.
- Monitor and coordinate routine maintenance and repairs of company light- and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Conduct inspections and maintenance of safety and accident prevention equipment, including fire water pumps, fire trucks, hose reels, and nozzles.
- Monitor lifting equipment integrity and coordinate recertification activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement integrated maintenance schedules and realistic periodic/annual maintenance plans for critical equipment and facilities.
- Work with field operations teams to identify turnaround maintenance requirements and ensure availability of resources for efficient execution.
- Maintain high standards for safe, environmentally compliant, timely, and cost-effective maintenance operations.
- Supervise maintenance personnel activities including training, performance management, recruitment, disciplinary actions, and operational performance monitoring.
- Manage maintenance budgets, monitor expenditures and variances, improve equipment reliability through preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of first degree or HND in Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic Engineering or any related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications such as COREN will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years work experience in the oil and gas industry, with experience in a similar role and at least 3 years in a supervisory position.
