The Head of Human Resources role at Ingentia Eneries Limited is responsible for leading the company’s human capital and workforce development strategies to support business growth and organizational transformation. The role involves overseeing talent acquisition, employee engagement, change management, organizational development, and performance improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives, enhance workforce capability, and drive a strong organizational culture. Applicants should possess strong leadership experience in HR management, preferably within the oil and gas or exploration and production sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement change management plans in line with business direction.
- Facilitate forums with senior management to discuss change objectives, impact, and implementation strategies.
- Advise managers on their responsibilities in executing change initiatives and associated management plans.
- Establish and communicate a learning and development vision that drives business performance and organizational growth.
- Partner with senior management to promote performance improvement through learning initiatives and workforce capability development.
- Communicate industry trends, company priorities, and workforce development requirements to HR and senior management.
- Support organizational design and restructuring initiatives to optimize capability and alignment with company objectives.
- Engage senior management on organizational culture alignment and transformation in line with company mission and goals.
- Oversee and drive the company’s recruitment strategy, manpower planning, and talent acquisition processes.
- Improve employee value proposition initiatives and implement strategies to enhance employee retention.
- Align workforce and people strategies with evolving organizational needs and business objectives.
- Support strategic human capital initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, workforce capability, and long-term sustainability.
Requirements
- Minimum of a first degree in a relevant social science or any related field.
- MBA or Master’s degree in a related discipline is an added advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications such as Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), or international equivalents.
- Minimum of 10 years cognate experience in the related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience working in an Exploration and Production company will be an added advantage.
